I have a form with a picklist. When the user clicks an OK button, control returns to the server for backend processing. I needed to add a confirmation dialog to be sure the user wants to proceed. Seemed easy enough, I added an OnClientClick event to the OK button tied to a function with the confirmation. The problem is, I don't want a confirmation to appear if the user hasn't done anything and I also need to customize the confirmation message based on server side info. So the flow I need is:
1) the user clicks OK
2) the server side OK button event initiates the confirmation alert
3) the user confirms or cancels
4) control returns to the server with the user's response so the action can be completed
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
