I am creating a project where I am taking data from Oracle tables and populating SQL Server. I have scripts that will create the tables in SQL Server. My question is what is the most efficient (Quickest) way to accomplish this.

As a Use Case, I am doing this with a few tables from Microsoft's AdventureWorks datebase. I am copying rows from a few tables to temp tables. My code works, but tables that have say 19,000 rows of data take up to 20 minutes to insert. Is that normal?

Here is my code for the population of the Person.Address table (from adventure works), minus the creations scripts that create the temp tables. Would it be faster using DataAdapters? Or any other methodology?
