MySql Role Provider issue

I working on creating a site that takes advantage of Dan Hounshell's adding OpenId to an ASP.NET Website and is using the security tutorials to add some user administrative functions to my site. I've upgraded to MySql's Connector/NET 5.23 as my site runs on  mYsQL 5 DB.I'm working throught hemanaging roles tutorial (http://www.asp.net/learn/security/tutorial-09-cs.aspx) and where it says:

MySqlRoleProvider Roles = new MySqlRoleProvider();
string newRoleName = RoleName.Text.Trim();
