I have a drop down list on my web page Page1.aspx, the selection for the drop down are MS word and MS Excel. when the user selects the MS word option then I am redirecting the page to another page Page2.aspx and then on that page I have a gridview, I am exporting the whole gridview to MS word. The whole process is transparet to the user, users only see the ms word window opening up from the page1.aspx when they select ms word option.
If I select the MS word option from the drop down, the selectedIndexchanged event of the drop down is fired and then inside that event, I am redirecting to another page where the grid is present, I don't show the grid to the users, I directly send the contents of the grid to MS word.
I have another button, the homepage button, on that page1.aspx that redirects the user to homepage, but when ever I click on that button, the selectedIndexchange event of drop down box is fired and users see the ms word window opening u ...
