I accustom to build only a program fields mapping with a database table. I found that there are two places to express mapping with a database in the book of ASP.NET 2.0 Website Programming from Marco Bellinaso. The first place is the entity class. The second place is the Bll class. The difference is that Bll has a few fields coming from computing or other object. By this way , the Bll classes can including some fields not existing in database and expressing the relationship with other Bll classes.
I have two questions: 1?Was my view right. 2?Are there other benefits by building two mapping.
