I have a set up that goes something like this:
There is a text box with a button. The user types a number in the text box and clicks the button.
There is a gridview at the bottom of the page.
The gridview should be populated from the following query:
select * from mytable where id = (value from textbox)
I set up a sqldatasource but it doesn't seem to get populated dynamically. Seems to me that when the page opens the text box is blank therefore returning no rows. Is there a refresh or something I need to do for the sqldatasource when the button is clicked?
