Inner borders for a server side table not rendering

Hey guys,

I have a server side table on my .aspx page. By default only the content of the table cells is being displayed, essentially the outer border and the inner borders (those that help distinguish between cells and rows) do not render themselves. Its easy to set the outer border by changing the color to black and the width to a single pixel or whatever. But, i can't figure out how I can see the inner borders or inner lines.

Any one with an idea ?
