Does ASP.NET provide any standard way to "name" a website?
I want to post messages to the event log when a website app begins and performs its system wide initialization and to do this sensibly I'd like to the name of the website.
Is there a way to do this?
Is there a reserved place in web.config for inserting some identifier?
Currently its hard coded, but I don't like this much.
The important initialization is currently carried out in Application_Start()
