I apologize if this is the wrong sub-forum for this question, if it is please let me know a better sub-forum to ask this.
Anyway, I have a table in my database with a photo column that points to the location of images all under the same root, like this: Y:\playerPhotos\playerName.jpg
When I select a specific photo using a stored procedure in my aspx.cs, then read the image path using a sqldatareader like this
 while (sdr.Read())
{
string filepath = sdr.GetString(0);
playerImage.ImageUrl = filepath;
}
it works fine and the image shows in Internet Explorer (version 8), but doesn't show in Firefox (version 3.6.4)
I think it has to do with the direction of the slash, but I'm not sure.  Is there anyone out there that has run into this broswer problem?
Basically is there a solution to changing the value of the image's filepath string if the browser is Firefox?
