Membership and Profiles not saving under same app

For some reason when I save a profile it is not save under my application ID. A new application ID is created for the profiles. In the aspnet_applications table it has no name, just /. The membership is saved to my app. So I have two application rows in my application table, not sure why.

I thought it was a missing entry in my web.config, however I do have these in place:
