I wrote a web application using the Web Applications template (not Websites) that utilizes Profile Properties to save a Shopping Cart. When I run the application from Visual Studio .NET (using the built-in web server) everything works perfect. I can add products to the shopping cart and view them with no problems.
However, when I publish the web app to IIS 5.1 it doesn't work. If I hit the website it loads without errors and I can see the products but when I try to add a product the page jsut seems to postback but not save the product in the profile. The strange thing is that I get no errors message on the page nor in Event Viewer. I tried running the app without copying the aspnetdb to the app_data directory and even tryed copying a aspnetdb to the app_data directory but no luck.
Any ideas as to why the app works when using the VS.NET built-in web server but not on IIS?
