Linq to SQL - Generic CRUD operation methods

Hi

I am LINQ begineer trying to create a Class Library with methods that perform CRUD( Create, Retrieve, Update, Delete) operations. so that this Library (.dll) can be used in any web app to access Data from Database.

When I tried to do so, LAMBDA expressions puts me off. As a begineer to SQL to LINQ, I m trying to use completely LINQ to achieve this.

Your input and expertise is appreciated to acieve CRUD operation methods.
