Let me explain, I'm frustrated that there are very few alternatives to PHP based discussion forums in the opensource community. Not only that even the most useful feature (searching within forums/threads) are supported in any of the opensource .NET based versions available.
So I'm asking myself why is this happening, why are the only alternatives to PHP based (the most feature rich discussion forums) discussion forums the ones you need to fork out $$$ cash for in .NET?
What happened to "by the community for the community"?
I'm really disappointed in the .NET community ...am I missing something?
