Can not use Database Publishing Wizard on my Database: I get error: No Objects in DB X.mdf of the type scriptable by this wizard

When I use the Database Publishing Wizard on my SQL Express Database, I get the error message when I supply my database name:
There are no objects in Database X.mdf of the type scriptable by this Wizard. However, it is a fully stocked and working DB.  I tried the
wizard on my AspNetDB database and it worked.  My database looks similar to that one.
