I have two pages from one i want to do a server.transfer() to the other page.The first is a page with a gridview and when you click the record it needs to link to the second page which will display more info on that record.
The page that I want to transfer to has an event handler that i want to call straight away, its actually a search page so i want the user to land on it with the search parameters that he entered on the first page already 'pumped' into the second page and then call the event handler straight away to perform the search. (The event handler is for the submit button).
What I do at the moment is on the page load for the second page is check for a session object Session["inutvalue"] and if it is present fill the second page's search box and fire the event handler progamatically. This does work however is there a better way that I can create the page dynamically and as an object perform the calculation and redirect the ...
