This is a web service that i am developing to kill/start processes on remote servers. It works fine when I run it on the
Visual studio 2005 dev environment, but when I publish the website onto my local IIS server and try running it via a
browser , i get the following error message in the case of the kill_process method :
System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: Access is denied
at System.Diagnostics.ProcessManager.OpenProcess(Int32 processId, Int32 access, Boolean throwIfExited)
at System.Diagnostics.Process.GetProcessHandle(Int32 access, Boolean throwIfExited)
at System.Diagnostics.Process.Kill()
at system_details.system_information.control_process(String name, String action)
at system_information.control_process(String process_name, String action)
the start_process method when invoked dose not do anything at all .....i know its something do with authentication Go to the complete details ...
