Hi All. I am having a problem with my web application asking users to log in when they are already logged in. This only happens when being run from within Visual Studio.
I have a folder that requires login to view the pages.
In one of those pages (say, MyPage.aspx), I am redirecting the user to a page in an external app (response.redirect("SomeServer/SomePage.aspx"), passing MyPage.aspx as the return url. When the external app returns, rather than showing MyPage.aspx it sends the user to the login page (even though in theory they are still logged in).
This also happens if instead of going to an external website I go to a page in my own app, but in a folder that does not require login.
The strange thing is that if I run the app outside Visual Studio (just launch ie and type the url) and do exactly the same thing it works ok (does not require the second login).
Any ideas why this might b ...
