i have entered the contents of some books in a database. each word in the books is represented by one row in a data table.
now i'm trying to learn asp.net in order to create the some educational tools using these books.

i have figured out how to display the data in paragraph form using a repeater control. i'm still working on fine-tuning the format so that it is presented the way it would look in an actual book: titles, paragraphs, punctuation, page numbers. i have a ways to go with this, but it looks like the repeater control will get me there if i keep working at it.

my next major obstacle is to allow the user to click on the individual words to access the data stored in the database. for example right click on a word and access information like dictionary entry, grammatical explanation, or anything else i have stored in my database for the word.
what are some of the things i should look into that will allow me to display words in book ...
