I posted a session problem on a previous post but I have tracked it down to what is happening but I cannot explain why.
Here is my scenario:
5 step wizard with step 4 taking a credt card payment thought a secure page.
I enter details on step 1,2 and 3.
The information is still available when I click next on step 3 and not available on step 4. The whole session has been cleared and this particular user has to go back to step 1 and fill everything out again.
This is only reproducable on 1 machine. Its IE 7 and I have wiped the history, cookies, temp files.
When I go through the wizard a second time, everything seems to work and it remembers all the information.
On my machine, pretty much the same environment, I have no problems and cannot reproduce.
This is not a timing issue as I have set the timeout to 15 and I complete the wizard in less than a minute.
Any thoughts?
