How do I set a Label Visable property based on the label's text property in Page Load event?

I am new to ASP.NET, but not so new to visual basic.  I am using Visual Studio 2005.

 

I have a label with the ID: Plant_N1Label which is bound to a datasource.  What I need to do is check to see if the Labels text property equals a certain Value "8000" then I want to hide the label and do the same if the label is Null.  I am trying to do this in the page load event.

This is what I am use to doing in a normal Visual Basic App.

If Plant_N1Label.Text = "8000" Then

Plant_N1Label.Visable = False

End if

I actually need to set several label properties depending on the value of the label, am just not sure how to do that in ASP
