finding the age with datedifference

 Hi Frinends,
I am using the BasicDatePicker control in my form ,I want find out the age from system date to given date in the BasicDatePicker Control
but what is the problem is here system date is displaying like this " 6/26/2008 12:00:00 AM"
but hwn I select any date in BasicDatePicker control  its displaying like this "10-Jun-2008"
for finding the age the date has to show in same format
But how to find age using the above formats
Please tell me any suggetions
