Unable to resolve Image/CSS file path in ASP.Net (VS2005)

I?m using ASP.Net (VS 2005) on Win XP Pro SP2.

In my website application, while running the application from Visual Studio IDE I?m unable to see any images loaded and CSS file is not applied.


(I have created the virtual directory and mapped to this application) But if I view the application directly (i.e. Open IE and type the address) I?m able to see images and CSS style is also applied.

I reckon, while running the application from VS IDE, the images and CSS file path is not resolved. Is there any setting I need to do, so that path can be resolved? or is i'm missing something here?

1)      I have ensured that file path and name is correct
2)      I tried all possible combination of file path like, ?stylesheet.css?, ?/stylesheet.css?, ?~/stylesheet.css?, ?./stylesheet.css?, but none of them are working. (.css and ...
