Hi I am trying to 'restore' a database that was backed up using SQL Express 2012 (11.0.2100) into SQL Express 2012 (10.50.400). When I go to device and add the backup file to the Restore Database dialog, nothing happens, none of the subsequent boxes and
drop-downs populate.
I have given the file full permissions but nothing!
Surely a slighltly new build of SQL Express 2012 cannot be incompatible with it's older counterpart. And if so what do I do in this case?
