I'm a student still learning a lot about ASP.NET. Recently I developed a site for a friends business, which is located in the root of my domain. I am now working on a small application for my own personal use which lies inside of a subdomain. The issue I'm running into is this: When I login in the subdomain (which works successfully), I am sent to http://sub.mydomain.com/sub/Default.aspx instead of just http://sub.mydomain.com/Default.aspx.
This started happening after I upgraded the application in the subdomain to .NET 3.5 (so it would match the .NET version in the root domain). I'm not sure why it's started adding the name of the sub directory onto the URL after a login or page redirection. If you could help me figure this out and fix it, it would be greatly appreciated!
Some additional details:
The root domain is a "Web Site" and the sub domain is a "Web Application." I'm not sure if that co ...
