Web page has expired gridview pagination

hi,
I'd like to ask if someone has come up to this behaviour with Internet Explorer 8.
I have a datagrid with pagination. If you change index and click on a link the first time and then 'page back'  on IE then it throws out the message 'web page has expired'.
If you do that again on the same pagination index then it works.
With Firefox it all works fine (as usual..)
I've put in the header <%Response.CacheControl="Public"%> , nothing changes.
Whats the best approach for this problem? without rewriting the hole app.  may have a look at the website -> Gesamtangebot
