Hi
I am developing asp.net application where i have one folder named "uploads" which contains all the uploaded .PDF,.DOC files by users...
I have one hyperlink button in a form where i am setting "NavigateUrl" to a particular file under "uploads"..
Now i want that whenever any user click on this link it should not open the file,it should open the login form first..after successfull login it will open the file...
So how can i achieve this..should i need to give web.config file under "Uploads" folder and i will set authentication(I tried but it is not working for me, i don't know what i am missing...) or is there any way to do this...but i will prefer my approach (placing web.config in uploads folder) if we can do it using this way..
Please help me in this issue...
