Hi, just as an exercise, I am trying to create a calculator web part. For some reason, I can't get the equals button to work. I've reduced my project to a simple exercise, so it will be easier for me to explain what I'm doing. In my example, I have a TextBox to display the numbers as they are added, a button with the text 4 (Button1), a button with the text 5 (Button2), an add button which adds the numbers to the textbox, an equal button which displays the answer of the added items to a label (lblAnswer). For some reason, the equal button just displays the last number that was added to the text box, not the sum of the two numbers. I've gone off some working examples I've found online, but for reason mine doesn't work. I guess I'm missing some silly detail, but I can't figure it out. Any help? Thanks in advance.
