Hi,
I am currently building an application using the membership service.
I am a little confused on how to go about creating users but also having additional fields to the user table.
So i want to register a new user but have more columns on the membership table to hold additional information.
Is it good to go ahead and start changing the aspnet_membership table to add additional fields?
And even if i did how can i edit the membership code? If i go to the definition of "CreateUser", it ends up taking me to the MembershipProvider abstract class where i cant make changes.
Would it make more sense to create my own table so when adding a new user i create them in the membership table AND add a record in my own table?
Regards,
Vishal
