Sending email via Gmail servers

Hi,
I am trying to send email from my app using the Gmail smtp servers.
In web.config I have - 
<system.net>
        <mailSettings>
            <smtp>
                <network host="smtp.gmail.com" port="465" userName="user@gmail.com" password="mypassword" />
            </smtp>
        </mailSettings>
</system.net>
 I instantiate a System.Net.Mail.MailMessage and System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient object, set SSL to true for the smtpclient and then try to send the mail -
          Try
            smtpClient.EnableSsl = True
