I am trying to set up a website form scratch . The website is developed using ASP.Net 3.5, AJAX 2.0 on sql server 2005. The website contain static as well as dynamic pages.
I need to make sure the website is secure after hosting it. What all measures I need to take for this???
With what account the user need to access the website ??? I was playing around with user accounts and could have made some mistakes in assigning proper rights to account.
Right now I can access the website , but not sure if the website is being accessed by proper account with proper privileges.
In the ?Connect as? option in windows 2008(this window shows up when you select the virtual directory and click basic setting from action column on IIS 7.0) I selected ?Pass through authentication?. Is this the proper option..??? There is also an option for ?specific user ?, should I use this..?? if yes which account should I use with what kind ...
