Hello. I recently learned Visual Studio in college about a half year ago. We were taught with 2005, but I wished to switch to 2008 so I can get better Vista support with it. I figured using databases with it on vista would be easy, but I have been having many issues getting it to connect to my database.
Even though my ideas are more complicated than this, the first basic thing I am trying to do is allow you to load a saved game or profile. (Yes I am making a sort of adventure card game) Anyway, I have my database with a table filled by a couple profile names. I want the names to display on a listbox. However when I try to connect my profile names on my table with the listbox, I load and nothing is there. This happened with 2005 for me as well, but it worked fine on XP. I run Vista Home Premium 64 bit. Please help me. Thank you.
