javascript instead of SelectIndexChanged event?Pls s help

Hi All,
I have an issue with SelectIndexChanged event of the grid view. When I select certain records(9th record and up),the event SelectIndexChanged event is not firing .There's no error being logged and code is not throwing any error.One solution suggested was to use javascript instead of the datagrid's event .Please anyone know javascript code that can bve used instead of the gridview's selectindexchanged event . Below is the SelectIndexchanged event code. Please help .
