how to insert a text into the dropdownlist from the database...

   I am developing a web page. I have used one dropdownlist box. Now i have to insert  some names into the dropdownlist box from database. How can i insert the names into the dropdownlist dynamically at run time from the database.Can anybody please help me regarding this.
