Seo Page rank loosing due to view state and scripts

Hi,

i am new to asp.net. before 2 month i converted one asp website to asp.net and lunched.

now that website ost their ranking,

for some particular keywords they getting the rank1 but now they getting the 5th rank for that same key words....

that SEO guy is saying "this is due to your view state and scripts ."

He explained like this:

after the Body tags arround 50 lines (8Kb) of the page, it is still all asp.net hidden values, script tags and WebForm OnSubmit scripts. so the deepth of the Keywords is about grater then 50 lines that means more then 300 words. so we lost our ranking. he reported like this.

Now they asking me to remove this all or move bottom of the page.

move all scripts to Header section or bottom of the page....


How to do this?

i tried to move script manager to bottom of the page i am getting the error like i tried many ways like move view s ...
