Hello, I have a Flash Gallery which feeds from an XML file, which sets which pictures the gallery is going to show.

The data about what pictures to show is saved in an SQL Server database. Pictures should last only for some periods of time, for example Picture X is going to be visible from 07/31/2008 11:43am through 08/05/2008 12:50pm.

Because of those periods of time I can't just generate an XML file everytime the data is changed.  I could have a process run every minute to re-generate the XML file according to the dates, but that would be crazy.

So I was thinking in some way to feed the Flash gallery a webpage, like GenerateXML.aspx?gallery=1 which would return an XML file generated on the air.  But I am not sure if that is the best option, I am not sure even if the Flash gallery could handle it.

Maybe someone has had a similar problem and knows the best way to go?

Thanks in advance.
