date null then should display blank not the default value

using asp.net 2.0 with C#

 In a table if value for EndDate is null then it is being displayed as 01/01/0001(default value).

EndDate = DataAccess.GetDateTime(dr, "EndDate");

I want that the Start Date should display as blank field. I mean it should not display any value for the corresponding 'Null' in db.
