I downloaded and installed MS SQL Express because I read that it would help me publish my Access 2010 database to a Web page. I've spent hours fighting my way through error messages when I try to connect Access to Express, but now that I'm apparently connected, Access says it cannot create the database. Apparently, there is a rights issue, so says this forum's answer lookup. However, my user account already has Administrator rights. I even downloaded and installed Windows Azure, but I got no farther with that than with SQL Express.
Before I give up and delete about a gigabyte of software off my system, can someone tell me of a quick way to get my Access database viewable in a Web browser on a local machine? This is strictly for a demonstration in class, and we don't have access to servers (my plan was to install server software on a personal machine and run that in class).
