I have my website hosted on GoDaddy and I’ve been having continual problems with my site going down. They continue to tell me it’s a problem with scripting on my website but cannot be more specific.
I’ve begun the process of learning more about debugging and I came across the issue of adding namespaces, assemblies, and tag prefixes to the web.config file as opposed to adding them to each form/codebehind.
As I built up the web site it seemed to make more sense to have namespaces and assemblies added to the web.config to make them available to all pages that I wrote.
Now I’m wondering if I’ve gotten myself into a mess and it’s causing errors and or performance issues.
Any advice, best practices, or pointing me in the direction of some good reading on the subject is MUCH APPRECIATED!
