Running asp.net 2.0, XP pro sp3 (dev machine) using FORMS authentication (with anonymous access allowed).

Recently moved to a new dev machine and am having a problem I never had before.

Authentication works fine when client and server are localhost (same machine), but when connecting to server from a diff client machine, I can view the login form, but the authentication doesn't take - I am redirected to the login form instead of the application.

I copied all the files (incl. web.config) from my old machine, so I'm fairly certain that this is just a configuration problem with IIS or my virtual directory.

Any thoughts or suggestions of where to look? I can't share/post any code (clause in my contract), but I can tell you that the code isn't doing anything out of the ordinary - just confirms the user/pass against the DB (which works fine) and then relies on asp.net forms authentication to do the rest.
