how to pass a value to windows control library

hi all, i have created a asp.net page and a windows control library. i embed it using the following code.

<object id="MyWinControl" classid="http:MyControl.dll#MyControl.Control1"          
          height="500" width="450" VIEWASTEXT/>

 i would like to pass a value to the windows control library when the windows control library is loaded.
