I have a button in my formview that appears in the edit template. This button activates a modalpopupextender, which brings up a panel where you can enter text into a textbox and it populates a gridview in that same panel. I select a line from that gridview, and upon doing that, I want a certain column of that row (lastname) to populate back to my "lastnametextbox" in the formview while it is still in edit mode. I select an "ok" button in this panel to do this. This is where I am having the issue; I can't seem to find a way to take my selected value and populate it to my formview while in edit mode. From there all the user would have to do would be to select "update".
