I'm wondering if it's safe to use an ASP.NET web service for generating an email. The service would be invoked on the local server and include "to", "from", and "content" information. It would not be accessible via a web page to the public.
My question is, is this safe? Can someone from another domain invoke this web service or would they be denied access since it's cross domain? What are the ways this service could be hijacked? Thoughts? Thanks.
