Hi,
I want a picture as a favicon on my website. I followed all the steps which are necessary for creating a favicon (16X16, ico extension etc.) using photoshop but I am not able to see it on the browsers, both IE (i am using IE8) and Firefox on my local machine.
My question is: cant we see favicon on local machine? can be seen when hosted on server!!. or is there anyother reason why i am not able to see it on the browser? I tried below lines of code
