Hi Guys,
I noticed that the error message of my regularexpressionvalidator dissapears when the postback happens.
Ideally I dont want that a postback is possible as long as an error is there. How can I do this?

The regularexpressionvalidator:
<asp:RegularExpressionValidator ID="RegularExpressionValidatorForEmailAdddress" runat="server" ControlToValidate="Email" ErrorMessage="bbbbbb." ValidationExpression="\w+([-+.']\w+)*@\w+([-.]\w+)*\.\w+([-.]\w+)*"></asp:RegularExpressionValidator>

the checking on postback (checking user names and if they are already used) - is there a different way to do this?
