extract images in email.

hi
i using OPENPOP tool for read the email from my id.
its read and give values like subject and message body etc...
if any emails contain images it convert as text format...
but i not need that images i want text only..
if any body suggest me.. how i extract images or how can i identify the images and remove it from my emails message.
i'm not  familiar in english... so please tolerate..
