Passing function name as well as id parameters

is there anyway i can pass the name of the function i wish to execute as well as the id of the record involved?

usually to get the id i would pass like this

<a href="/thispage.aspx?id = <%#  DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"id".ToString()) %>>link</a>

can i pass a function this way too so that i can group edit and delete functions in the same code behind file?
