Hi,
I have a site where Users can upload files. The files get stored on a file server as opposed to the IIS server. The user can view a list of the files they have uploaded and click on which one they want to download which is just a direct http link to the file. My problem is, anyone can download these files if they know the url.
The directory is just set up as a virtual directory in IIS that points to a mapped drive to the File server. The user has to be logged into the site to be able to view their list of files but how do I provide some sort of authentication to the download directory?
