Hi,
I have a detailsview where several fields are bouned by bounded column. The fields are amount1, amount2,..., amount5. I also have a textbox as a template field where I would like to show total for all the amount and it should be read only. I tried to write the code in the detailsview_Databound event but it does not even go there.
Int16 amt1 = Int16.Parse(dtltax.Rows[6].Cells[1].Controls[0].ToString());
Int16 amt2 = Int16.Parse(dtltax.Rows[7].Cells[1].Controls[0].ToString());
Int16 Total = amt1 + amt2;
TextBox txttotal = dtltax.Rows[10].Cells[1].Controls[0] as TextBox;
txttotal.Text = Toal.ToString();
Can anyone help me on that one? thanks in advance for your help.
