I am using a text box to display a phone number returned from a database. This works except the formatting is bad and in a win form there is a maskedtextbox, so I found the MaskEditExtender.
This sort of work if I manually enter in the text box it will format correctly (000)000-0000
However when I dynamically populate from the database it looks like (_00)000-0000. I did validate that the full 10 digit number is being returned.
At first the format would only displayed when I was focused on the text box so I set the ClearMaskOnLostFocus = false;
Is this a know issue or is there a better method to use.
