FileUpload causes Page.Load

Hello,

The
            Session("strRecordID") = userid + date.now()

is filled when the user clicks [NEW] and is used many times on the page and the
idea is it so preserve it beyond POSTBACKS but not PAGE_LOADS.


I am using the file upload control on my page and that is causing a page load that still gets into the
IF statement.

        'Make sure it fires only on "first" page load
        If Page.IsPostBack = False Then
            ImageOfAlternative.Visible = False

            Session("strRecordID") = "" 'reset
      

I want to reset the strRecordID on page load and when [FINISHE ...
